On July 15th, I flew from Boston to Heathrow and met with my parents. We spent about a week in Cambridge hanging out with Jon and Karen (Jon was working for Microsoft Research there), and then passed through the Cotswolds on our way to St. Austell to visit family (Jean Geoff and Charlie, Lucy Chris and Daniel, and Wendy Paul and Alfie). Jess arrived and travelled with us, through Tedburn St. Mary (visiting Julie, Sam, and Matthew) and Bristol (meeting Caragh and James) to Stratford-upon-Avon where we stayed and Blackwell Grange in Shipton-on-Stour for 3 nights. Then my parents drove us back to Cambridge and they went back to Philadelphia.

Jess and I spent 2 days in Cambridge and 4 days in London before flying to Dublin.
